About Me

A performing artist from New York, Yvette Bedgood is a versatile singer, dancer and actress. Her repertoire is extensive: classical, pop, jazz, R&B, gospel, musical theatre, hip-hop and rock. While growing up in upstate NY, she started her vocal training in various genres and also studied choreography in her award-winning high school show choir with the legendary Tommy Tune.

Although she studied music in college, she took a different career path for a short time, but after graduation Yvette steadily returned back to music. While performing in church & in theatre, she was encouraged by friends and family to perform professionally, and she hasn’t stopped since. Yvette has performed internationally with various ensembles and in venues such as with the Buffalo Philharmonic and shared the stages with the late Marvin Hamlisch & Renee Fleming. She has also sung with The Gulf Coast Symphony, The Philly Pops with Broadway star Lauren Kennedy, the NY Pops with Brian Stokes Mitchell & also with Jennifer Hope Wills and Idina Menzel. She has also performed throughout New York City in venues such as The Triad, 54 Below, Carnegie Hall and at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.
